FOR INTERMEDIATE TO ADVANCED PHOTOGRAPHERS
Wake up to the warm, desert air and look out at the diverse landscape of this untouched stretch of wild Baja next to the Pacific Ocean.
This experience will be unlike any other retreat you’ve attended.
It’s been intentionally created for photographers who have been shooting within the walls of their city, state, or country, and are craving to break out of their local market and get some real, tangible experience in the world.
This retreat is not for the fainthearted and is not simply a portfolio builder or educational experience. Your time at Immersed will push you out of your comfort zone and guide you into discovering a deeper version yourself as a creative and a person. It’s a cultural, physical, emotional, and educational experience. It’s once in a lifetime.
Explore the streets of beautiful Todos Santos, hike in the mountains on this unique desert coast, stay up late stargazing under the night sky in an experience based hotel that was created intentionally to commune with nature.
Gather in the evenings for dinner with new friends that feel like family – a dinner experience where every detail has been perfectly and thoughtfully planned out just for you.
Learn what it takes to build a successful, authentic, purpose-driven destination elopement photography business alongside like-minded people from all over the world.
Immerse yourself in an experience that will rejuvenate and revive the core of your creative talent.
It's a one-of-a-kind minimalist luxury accommodation, set in a stretch of quiet untouched coastal Baja, all while learning what it takes to build a sustainable and successful destination elopement photography business through teachings, discussions, and styled shoots. It's a sanctuary, a place to re-discover a part of yourself, to grow into the photographer you want to become.
Our five-star accommodation is a place to rest your mind, stir your senses, and expand your reality.
The intentional design of Paradero, with serene interiors that flow to open-air seating areas with panoramic rooftops for star gazing and a private chef that uses the freshest ingredients locally sourced from Paradero's own organic garden, provides a sanctuary from which you can learn and grow.
As the first all-inclusive experience based hotel in Mexico, Paradero is more than just a place to rest your head – it's a place to explore the diverse ecosystems that surround this wild stretch of Baja. From a local Baja taco tour to coastal desert hikes, your time spent here will give you a taste of the local culture as well as the landscape.
We intentionally chose a place that not only has an award winning experience, but is a striking backdrop to build your destination elopement portfolio. The minimalist architecture, rooftop stargazing nets, stunning pool deck, hanging hammocks and outdoor living rooms, all amidst an open desert landscape provide unparalleled locations to develop your skills as a storyteller.
This retreat is an all-inclusive experience from airport transfers to food & drinks. We also have private and shared room options for all students.
As this may be your first time traveling and shooting in a different country, we want to give you everything you need to build confidence throughout this experience. From packing lists to personal check in's from the Immersed team, you will be supported throughout the entire process.
We will have time each day learning what it takes to become a successful destination elopement photographer, from marketing to how to create stand out images from Anni Graham. We have multiple styled shoots planned, but “portfolio building” will not be our main focus here. We want you to try new things, find new perspectives, break out of your comfort zone, and discover what it really takes to tell a story. The location and shoots will easily be some of the most unique work you’ve ever created, but we want you to be intentional with how you use these styled shoots to become a better photographer.
We value time spent together and know from past experiences that this will be a place where you find life-long friends in the industry.
How do you attract couples who want an intimate experience over a traditional wedding?
How do you create work that you feel deeply connected to?
How do you connect with couples who value your work and give you creative freedom?
How do you stand out in a saturated industry?
How do you develop a sustainable and successful destination elopement photography business?
Where creativity, culture and community meet.

Planner, Designer and Stylist
Hey, I'm Manda and I live all over the West Coast.
I own Mae&Co Creative, a destination based, luxury wedding planning company. I started Mae&Co in 2015 and haven’t stopped going ever since. The only thing I love doing as much as designing and styling, is traveling. Our company specializes in bringing together all of our greatest passions – planning, designing and traveling the world to give our clients a once-in-a-lifetime experience that they will never forget. My love for people and bringing joy to those around me fuels my passion for creating authentic and unique events that will be talked about for ages.

Hi, I'm Anni, and I currently live in Oregon, but spend most my time traveling with my amazing couples from all around the world to incredible places that are both inspiring and meaningful. When I'm not working, I'm probably traveling with my husband to some bucket list place that feels impossible to miss out on.
I've experienced love, friendship, and human connection to be one of the deepest pursuits in life and feel so honored to be able to document these timeless memories for people all over the world. I find so much meaning in creating experiences for couples that makes them fall more in love with each other and becomes something to look back on and feel for a lifetime
