about the educator
Anni Graham
Lighting has completely transformed the way I create and connect through photography. Over the years, I’ve learned how to embrace every lighting situation—whether it’s soft and flattering or harsh and challenging—and use it to create images that feel like art. Clients and vendors alike often tell me that my photos stand out because of the way I use light to add depth, emotion, and interest.
But it wasn’t always this way. I used to feel frustrated in non-ideal lighting situations, unsure of how to make the most of what I had and always looking for the standard “golden hour” to get the shots I needed.
Once I started experimenting with light—pulling it from unconventional sources, learning to spot interesting opportunities, and using tools like flash creatively—everything changed. My work became more dynamic, more consistent, and, most importantly, more impactful.
That’s why we created this course. I want to share the same techniques that have completely elevated my work and given me the confidence to create stunning images in any environment. I want to show you the potential of light so you can transform your photography and create work that truly stands out.
